About Greg Bagby

With over 30 years of work experience in education, I am passionate about using technology to enhance learning and teaching. As the former Coordinator of Instructional Technology at Hamilton County Department of Education (HCDE), I oversaw the implementation and evaluation of instructional technology programs and initiatives, as well as provided professional development and coaching to teachers and administrators. I also taught courses on educational technology and instructional design as an Adjunct Professor at Lee University, sharing my expertise and insights on adult education and online learning. In addition, I served as a Professional Learning Specialist at NCCE, where I designed and delivered customized training sessions on Microsoft tools and platforms for educators across the Northwest region. I hold a PhD in Educational/Instructional Technology from Concordia University Chicago, and have multiple certifications from Microsoft as a Global Training Partner. My core competencies include attention to detail, staff development, curriculum design, and data analysis. I am motivated by the mission of empowering learners and educators with the skills and tools they need to succeed in the 21st century, and I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity in my work. I bring a unique perspective and experience to the field of educational technology, as I have also worked as a Principal, a Professor, and a Choir Director in the past.
